Built for long-range stopping power, the Savage® Impulse Big Game Bolt-Action Rifle features a straight-pull action for enhanced speed and accuracy. The TrueTimber® VSX camo AccuStock® features AccuFit® technology with an adjustable length of pull (LOP) and comb height for a custom fit, while the user-adjustable AccuTrigger® ensures a consistent, like-custom trigger pull for improved control. The aluminum receiver and medium-contoured, fluted and threaded (5/8×24″) carbon steel barrel are finished with an OD green Cerakote® coating for superior rust and corrosion resistance. A 1-piece, 20 MOA integrated rail is precision-machined into the receiver for superior strength and rigidity, readily accepting a variety of Picatinny- and Weaver-style scope rings and bases. An oversized, round knob bolt handle cycles easily and quickly, offering smooth and reliable feeding and extraction. Plus, this rifle includes 1 flush-fit, detachable magazine for easy reloading.
